IMPORTANT NOTES

• Congratulations to the Swim Team for a solid showing at their first meet of the season.  Timothy Tyler and LA Caparanga recorded times that meet the GIAA State Qualification cuts.  These times are unofficial due to it being a GHSA meet but it's a great sign for meets to come!
• Visit the Season Highlights section of DonovanRams.com for a list of accomplishments of the Rams throughout this academic year!  It's only November and the results so far are something we can all be proud of!

Donovan Basketball Schedule Updated

The 2022-2023 Monsignor Donovan Basketball Schedule has been updated..  It is available under the Basketball sub-pages of Donovanrams.com and you can CLICK HERE in order to view them.   Note, we are still attempting to schedule home games, so this schedule is subject to change.  There will be a notice in the weekly newsletter whenever changes are made.

 

interactions with officials

Please note that our interactions with officials are to reflect our school's culture and values.  While our venues afford us an intimate "in the action" feel at events,  that proximity cannot lead to negative interactions with officials.   This may lead to a spectator being suspended from attending athletic events at Monsignor Donovan for up to one year.

At no point should a spectator approach officials following a contest.  

 

SENIOR NIGHT AND SPECIAL EVENTS

Please note, as we go forward, Senior Night may not necessarily always be the night of the final home game of a season.  A variety of factors will be considered when selecting the date for any special events during competitions.  Recent years have proven that there are occasions where rescheduling is impossible and we want to be sure we honor our Seniors.

 

DRAGONFLY MAX / ATHLETIC PAPERWORK

All student-athletes must have their paperwork up to date and in Dragonfly Max.  This platform houses all of our required information.  Parents are advised to scan and upload PDF copies and retain the original (free apps like Adobe Scan can do this for you).   As of 8/1 all student-athletes must be up to date in Dragonfly Max to participate.

SCHOOL ATHLETIC RECORDS AND COLLEGIATE ATHLETES

I am putting together a comprehensive record of our athletic achievements (Athletic Records, Team Accomplishments by Year, and Rams that went on to compete at the next level).  If you know of someone who has an outstanding athletic achievement at Monsignor Donovan, please share this with me via email.  Please share my contact information with anyone you think appropriate to help compile the achievements of our athletic community.

 

APPAREL

As of 11/6, new items have been added to the Donovan Athletics Apparel Store .  Featuring items from Nike, Adidas, Under Armor, and more.  Over 100 items are available in Men's, Women's, and Youth sizes/cuts.  Some items allow for additional customization beyond our logo (at an additional cost), and all items state in the description whether the Donovan "D Logo" will be screen printed or embroidered.  These items include a 10% markup that comes back to support athletics.

 

CAR DECALS

Donovan D Car Decals are available for $5 in the Athletic Office, or at concessions.  These are high quality decals that are intended to last 3 to 5 years even with regular washing.  Let the world know that together We Are Donovan!
